Honey Sweet · Silky Smooth · Pure Golden Buds
This is the black tea that makes people stop mid-sip and say “wait, what is this?” Naturally sweet, impossibly smooth, and made entirely from golden buds — no leaves, just the finest tips.
✦ Taste Notes
A warm, honeyed sweetness greets you first, followed by a subtle floral note — like wildflowers on a warm afternoon. The body is silky and full, with zero bitterness and a finish that lingers gently long after the cup is empty. The liquor is a luminous amber-gold, almost too pretty to drink.
✦ Why You'll Love It
- Made entirely from single golden buds — the most prized part of the tea plant
- No bitterness, no astringency — smooth from the very first sip
- The sweetness is completely natural — no added flavoring of any kind
- A beautiful everyday luxury that feels special every time
✦ Where It Comes From
Fengqing County in Yunnan is home to some of China's oldest wild tea trees — some over a century old. The ancient roots draw minerals deep from the earth, giving the leaves a richness and complexity that younger plantation teas simply can't replicate. This is Dianhong at its finest: unhurried, natural, and deeply expressive of its place.
✦ How to Brew
Heat water to 90–95°C — just before a full boil. Use 3–5g per cup and steep for 2–3 minutes. The golden buds are generous — you'll get 4–5 good re-steeps, each one slightly softer and sweeter than the last. Also wonderful cold-brewed overnight in the fridge.
✦ Shipping
We ship worldwide from China. Most orders arrive within 7–15 business days. All packages are carefully sealed to protect freshness during transit. Tracking information will be sent once your order is dispatched.
✦ FAQ
Why does it look so golden?
The golden color comes from the fine downy hairs on young tea buds — a natural sign of quality and careful harvesting.
Is it caffeinated?
Yes — black tea contains caffeine, making this a lovely morning or afternoon tea.
Can I add milk?
You can, but we'd encourage trying it plain first — the natural sweetness really shines on its own.
How should I store it?
In an airtight container, away from light and strong odors. Best enjoyed within 24 months.
